Handsome fungus beetles are a family of beetles found globally in many habitats and consist of 1300 species in 120 genera. As their common name suggests, Endomychidae feed on fungi. These beetles are distinguished by the presence of two longitudinal sulci (groove) or sublateral lines on the pronotum, although there are exceptions. They also have frontoclypeal suture across their face.
