Family Trigonopterygidae (Leaf-grasshoppers)

Trigonopterygidae is a family in the order Orthoptera foud in south and south-east Asia. The family comprises of 2 subfamilies, Borneacridinae and Trigonopteryginae.

Borneacridinae is distributed in West Malesia and comprises to two monotypic genera,

  1. Borneacris monotypic (B. mirabilis)
  2. Moultonia monotypic (M. violacea)

Trigonopteryginae comprises of three genera, one of which is monotypic.

  1. Pseudopyrgus monotypic (P. curtipennis) (Borneo)
  2. Systella 
  3. Trigonopteryx
